There are currently only a few Grivels living in the Netherlands, all of them descendants of a Henri Grivel who appears in Amsterdam in the 1780s. This Henri Grivel possibly came from St. Livres in Switzerland. He is my direct ancestor.
The only Dutch Grivels I am aware of are my brother and cousins (I moved to the United States in 1995). There are records of other Grivels having lived in Holland that I have not yet connected to my own family yet. More information on them can be found in the Genealogy Database section.
